FollowMee GPS History Certification
If you need to prove routes, stops and timestamps captured with FollowMee (Android & iOS), we perform a remote forensic acquisition from the official web portal and issue a Certified Copy with digital signature and qualified EU timestamp. By default, certification is recognized throughout the European Union; on request we can apply an international timestamp suitable for wider jurisdictions.
How it works
- Authorization: you provide a digital legal mandate and temporary credentials or viewer access.
- Portal export: we log in to followmee.com and export the history in CSV/GPX/KML for the requested period (plan-dependent).
- Forensic sealing: we compute a SHA-256 hash of exported files and seal the package with a qualified EU timestamp (CAdES
.zip.p7mor TSD). - Report: lawyer-ready technical report (English; other languages on request) describing methods, metadata, integrity checks and any limitations.
- Delivery: private download link (cloud). Evidence kept available for 3 months; you can store it permanently on your side.
What you receive
- Official FollowMee exports (CSV/GPX/KML) for the agreed time window.
- Digitally signed and timestamped evidence package + SHA-256 hash values.
- Acquisition log (URLs, timestamps, environment, IP/session details) and chain of custody.
- Optional annexes: map snapshots, tabular summaries, timeline of movements.

- eIDAS (EU 910/2014): qualified timestamp and qualified digital signature.
- ISO/IEC 27037:2012 and widely accepted digital forensics good practices.
- GDPR: data minimization, confidentiality, and purpose limitation.

Why certify GPS history from FollowMee?
1) Logs rotate or can be deleted. Early certification preserves decisive evidence before retention limits or account changes remove it.
2) Screenshots aren’t enough. They can be edited and lack verifiable integrity. Courts increasingly require a forensically acquired and digitally signed package.
